Getting Started
Welcome to the Turnkey Stacks Wallet! Getting started is simple and takes less than a minute. Our wallet uses passkeys, so you won't need to remember any complicated seed phrases.
Creating Your First Wallet
Creating a wallet is a one-click process.
- Launch the Dashboard: Navigate to the main dashboard.
- Click "Log in with Turnkey": You'll be prompted to create or use a passkey. This is usually handled by your device's biometrics (like Face ID or a fingerprint scan) or a security key.
- That's It! Once you've authenticated, your wallet is ready to use. You'll be automatically redirected to your dashboard.
What is a Passkey?
A passkey is a modern, secure replacement for passwords and seed phrases. It's a cryptographic key that is stored on your device, making it much harder for phishing attacks to succeed.
Your First Account
When you create a wallet, an initial Stacks account is automatically generated for you with the standard derivation path m/44'/5757'/0'/0/0. You are now ready to receive funds and interact with dApps.
